New SBOE Appeals Application
With the launch of the new SBOE appeals application, all appeal types may be filed online with the exception of centrally valued property that is valued by the Arizona Department of Revenue.
NOTE: To appeal online , the appeal can be submitted any time until midnight the day before the deadline.
For example, if a 25-day deadline is Tuesday, September 8th, 2020, you may efile Monday, September 7th until midnight Arizona time even though it is a holiday. As for postal mailings we reference the USPS (or carrier) postmark date to ensure that it has a date no later than the deadline date, September 8th, 2020, in this example.
In order to file an online appeal you must upload a copy of the Amended Notice of Valuation or Notice of Change that you received from the County Assessor and specify appeal type 82130NC when you create your appeal.
