Note: When filing an appeal to the SBOE by mail or hand-delivered, please reference the relevant petition form instructions for documentation requirements.

Below is a list of required documentation by petition/DOR form number which must be uploaded when you file your appeal online to the SBOE or it is subject to rejection. In order to perfect/complete your appeal, please upload the following documents

  • Required
    1. Original petition or claim filed with the tax officer/county assessor
    2. Tax officer/county assessor decision
  • If applicable;
    1. Evidence  (optional while creating an appeal unless the petition basis references an attachment and is required with the petition)
    2. Multiple Parcel Appeal Form (DOR 82131)
    3. Appropriate Income and Expense Statement from the DOR 82300 series (Income Approach appeals)

DOR Form 82130NC

Below is a list of required documentation by petition/DOR form number which must be uploaded when you file your appeal online to the SBOE or it is subject to rejection. In order to perfect/complete your appeal, please upload the following documents:

    1. Tax officer/county assessor decision
    2. Tax officer/county assessor Amended Notice of Valuation or Notice of Change 
    3. Agency Authorization form (DOR 82130AA) – [Taxpayer agents only]
  • If applicable;
    1. Evidence  (optional while creating an appeal unless the petition basis references an attachment and is required with the petition)
    2. Multiple Parcel Appeal Form (DOR 82131)

DOR Form 82179C OR 82179CP

Below is a list of required documentation by petition/DOR form number which must be uploaded when you file your appeal online to the SBOE or it is subject to rejection. In order to perfect/complete your appeal, please upload the following documents:

    2. Original tax officer/county assessor Notice of Proposed Correction (DOR form 82179A or 82179P)
